Job Description

Position Summary
• Defends Agile methodologies and evangelizes core Agile principles in the organization
• Coaches teams on Agile methodology: focuses on 2-4 teams, observes team activities, guides the team through Agile learning, provides general and role-based training, helps solve impediments, and mentors team on Agile best practices
• Facilitates team learnings and continuous improvement: facilitates program retrospectives, raises recurring issues and bottlenecks to Agile team stakeholders, and promotes others to foster teamwork, facilitates team Agile maturity assessment
• Supports training, Agile tooling, and maturity tracking: translates enterprise best practices into actionable recommendations for his team, monitors metrics tracking progress for his/her team, and works with the team to generate ideas for Agile tooling
• Performs additional duties as assigned
Requirements Education, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Degree in computer science or engineering optional

• 5 or more years of iterative or Agile like dev experience
• One or more Agile certifications is a plus (e.g. CSM, CSPO, CSP, PSM, PSPO)
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Rally) is a plus
• Actively participates in the Agile Community as speakers, Meet-ups

• Knowledgeable about Agile principles and application, or a fast learner with strong passion for Agile
• Passionate about change and continuous improvement; willing to challenge status quo and dissent when needed, and not afraid to point out development areas and give constructive feedback
• Talent for influencing and building strong relationships with teams, peers and leaders
• Strong facilitation skills, adept at problem solving with team to analyze issues and opportunities to improve working model and align on path forward foraction
• Knowledge in mentoring and coaching Scrum Masters, developers, testers and product owners
• Ability to learn quickly and teach others by showing what worked and what didn’t
• Strong communicator, can share in plain and articulated fashion ways to describe different ways of working

• Be able to foster cohesion, collaboration and goal alignment across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders
• Be able to drive cultural change and Agile mindset within a strong, established culture
