Capital Bank Regional Sales Manager

Location: 500 S. Stratford Road

The Regional Sales Manager 'will be responsible for building a high performing team and lead consumer and small business sales, new to bank customer acquisition, and deposit growth efforts in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidate must be available to effectively support a broad number of financial centers within the market.

Specific responsibilities to include:

- Creating an exciting, engaging, and productive environment for our financial center employees. Support their career development through coaching, training, and providing opportunities for growth. Communicate and explain critical changes in the business environment and assist financial center employees in understanding and embracing change.

- Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase new-to-bank customers, identifying customer needs, assisting financial center employees in development of COIs, and making joint business calls with Financial Center Managers. Providing one-on-one coaching to financial center employees to increase their ability to have better quality conversations with customers and prospects. Working with financial center employees to identify customer needs/goals, make appropriate recommendations, and follow up. Providing coaching and mentoring to establish a culture focused on providing long term value to customers through advice and consultation. Responsible for leading team accountability, achieving profitable growth goals, P&L, and customer experience for the Region.

- Recruiting, hiring, and developing a high performing team. Work with Recruiting to build an ongoing pipeline of talent.

- Assisting in managing operational aspects of the financial centers including, audit, fraud, losses, etc.
Requirements Bachelors degree (or equivalent in work experience) required
4 to 6 years Sales management experience, 3+ yrs of high sales required
6 to 8 years preferred.

Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills. General banking/operations. Ability to manage others and offer coaching and direction setting related to performance. Excellent consultative sales and cross-selling skills.
