Job Description

Specific Job Duties to include:

60% - Respond to client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts and policies in a timely and accurate manner via phone or email. Opens new accounts, promotes cross-selling; researches and corrects account discrepancies, and settles overdrafts. processes and administers commercial loans, establishes and maintains relevant files, processes loan payments, and initiates wire transfers.

20% - Calculates loan items and charges such as interest and payments. Assists lending officers in activities such as disbursement of funds and extension of new loans. Reviews loan documents, ensures loans are booked correctly in the system of record, and prepares periodic loan reports.

10% - Assists the credit team by ordering appraisals/environmentals, processing ACH account renewals, and requesting financial statements.

5% - Other duties as assigned. (Examples being coordinates travel, expense reports, RMS data. etc.)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:

2 years required; 2-4 years preferred.

High Diploma required; Associates or higher preferred or equivalent in work experience/specialization

Retail banking/deposit background

Some knowledge of treasury management products/services preferred.

Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills.

Proficient with applicable computer software.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational and customer service skills.

General banking/operations experience.

Excellent consultative sales and cross-selling skills.
