Job Description

The Senior Facilities Engineer will provide assistance in the overall maintenance of buildings, manage vendor services for the building, schedule work orders and ensure building operations are efficient and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance and repair work on all facility mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Troubleshoot and repair problems as needed.
• Maintain and operate all HVAC systems including, electrical, plumbing, building management systems.
• Perform facility inspections and report findings to management.
• Perform building repairs as needed.
• Monitor and provide services for all HVAC maintenance contracts.
• Prepare and submit summary reports for all buildings conditions.
• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
• Support after hours building needs as required.
• Key and lock knowledge is a plus.
• Attend training session and seminars to enhance job skills.
• Other assigned tasks as requested.
• Working knowledge of Emergency Generators and UPS Backup Systems.

Requirements Qualifications:
• High School Diploma and Technical Diploma Certification.
• Minimum 3-5 years of related work experience.
• Strong Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• OSHA and EPA Certified.
• Able to work independently or within a team environment.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical and architectural drawings
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems a plus.

Physical/Mental Activity Requirements needed to perform given tasks:
• Standing, Walking, Sitting, Stooping, Climbing Ladders, Crawling in small spaces.
• Writing, Clerical and Analytical Skills.
• Good Judgement, Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills.
• Heavy lifting over 50lbs for some tasks is a requirement.

Work Schedule
Days: Monday – Friday
Time: 7am – 4pm
PLEASE NOTE: The individual will be expected to work within a scheduled work routine (preventive maintenance), but also be flexible to provide emergency services, including scheduled and non-scheduled overtime. Some brief travel may also be required.
