Job Description

The Principal and Interest Support employee performs the Principal and Interest (P&I) settlement, reconciliation, and provides support to the Trade Input and Security Master operations units.  Works directly with department personnel on problem-solving and communicating status on aged reconciliation items. Performs key role by taking responsibility to identify, communicate, follow-up and assist with resolving issues through collaboration with other department personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Principal and Interest settlement
  • Performs reconciliation and documentation on daily settlement and exceptions
  • Issues and resolves Principal and Interest Claims
  • Provides communication and documentation on status of all aged and pending P&I items
  • Communicates with manager and Lead Analyst proactively regarding settlement and reconciliations
  • Provides back-up and support to Trade Input
  • Bond Security Master Support
  • Perform other Operations Departmental Support duties as needed

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Competency with utilizing  Microsoft Office (Word, Access  Excel) and ability to learn basic back-office systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others to resolve issues and reconciliation items
