Job Description

Position Summary:

• Provides guidance and facilitation on Agile processes to Agile team: facilitates transparency, inspection and adaptation, leads daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement (i.e. facilitates as a servant leader), supports Product Owner release planning.

• Helps team function well together and removes impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges) fosters close cooperation across all team members, encourages cross-training and supporting each other, shields the team from external interference, ensures the team is fully functional and productive, builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment.

• Implement supporting processes, tools and reporting: implements appropriate processes and tools for program management (e/g/, Microsoft TFS, Jira), aggregates Agile team objectives and progress, publishes reports to business and all team members to ensure visibility and transparency.


• Bachelor degree or equivalent

• Degree in computer science or engineering (optional)


• 2-4 years of software development experience (optional)

• Preference in candidate with experience in relevant domains/products/journeys

• Experience in Agile or iterative development is a plus

• Scrum certification is a plus Skills and Knowledge:

• Passionate about change; knowledgeable about Agile principles and applications or a fast learner

• Potential for and interest in growing into an Agile Coach; strong learning mindset

• Experience with using Agile tools such as Jira, TFS, Rally, LeanKit

• Is assertive, has the confidence to be the voice of authority, not afraid to stand up for the team

• Is skilled at isolating and navigating the team through road-blocks to allow sprints to be completed on time

• Has strong communication skills with the ability to communicates complex messages and teach new concepts

• Able to build a sense of trust and report and resolve conflicts within the ream before they become an issue

• Acts as active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and maximize the team’s potential and individual capabilities

• Brings high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him

Problem solving:

• Must be able to handle dependencies between an Agile team and non-Agile external teams/groups that the Agile team has dependencies on, without having organizational authority over the external teams

• Must be able to mediate conflicts between team members while ensuring the team is optimizing delivery towards product goals

• Must be able to shield the team from external pressure from senior stakeholders to commit to a fixed date or fixed scope release early on

• Must be open to learning and coaching from the Agile Coach and Enterprise Agile Coach to ensure best practices are leveraged in squad coaching

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
