First Horizon’s Business Service Center Small Business Banker Advisor acts as a centralized fulfillment resource and subject matter expert (SME) for Treasury Services for retail banking partners. 

This role will work closely work with account officers and Relationship Managers to ensure the appropriate documentation is complete for the implementation process of Treasury Products. The candidate will be able to handle high volume requests while effectively communicating next steps with the banker and/or business client activities through virtual channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Small Business Banking Advisor is responsible for the following tasks:

•         Provide accurate and timely information to facilitate product implementation for retail facing clients.

•         Owning escalated issues to ensure timely resolution and follow up with internal / external customer.

•         Manage activities through virtual channels to support client needs.

•         Support Business Service Center through all virtual channels to meet / exceed business need.

•         Acts as a central resource for retail bankers as a SME for business products and services.

•         Provide effective communication and one on one guidance with retail bankers to ensure that products and services provided clients meet and/or exceed client expectation

•         Verify necessary information and compile documents for implementation of treasury services in accordance with all standards, compliance regulations and indemnity.

•         Work with other departments including Compliance, Onboarding, and Treasury Management to coordinate the Implementation of the products requested. 

•         Utilize the Product Implementation (PI system), once completed paperwork is received, to request product setups

•         Track, record and archive requests to ensure efficient implementation of products and services, focused on meeting/exceeding customer expectation

•         Audit outstanding request and follow up with retail partners to ensure forward progress on necessary work required for implementation

•         Provide product maintenance execution for existing products and services, acting as a SME for retail bankers to facilitate maintenance.

•         Monitor the implementation and resolve any concerns

o   If concerns are not easily resolved, notify the Account Officer and their Manager if escalation is required.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Overall core competencies include:

•         Passion for customer experience and for assisting internal/external customers

•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on proper grammar, etiquette and voice qualities such as tone, inflection and enunciation

•         Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

•         Problem solving ability, and customer advocacy and/or voice of the customer strategy experience

•         Strong computer skills and the ability to utilize multiple computer applications simultaneously

•         Close attention to detail, demonstrate positive attitude and professional demeanor - practicing strict confidentiality for all sensitive information

•         Knowledge of Treasury Management products

•         High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

•         Bachelor degree

•         Experienced serving small business and TM products

•         General banking industry business knowledge

Physical Requirements:

•         Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with or without the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

•         Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

•         Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
