Treasury Management Product Delivery Leader

The Treasury Management (TM) product delivery leader is a senior management level position responsible for leading First Tennessee Bank’s TM product delivery team. The product delivery team is responsible for ensuring all payment related systems are maintained to effectively serve client and bank needs. Payment systems include ACH, Wire, Card, Lockbox, Remote Deposit Capture, Account Reconciliation, etc.

The goal of this cross-functional team is to ensure TM systems are working well and meeting service level agreements. Any production system issues are addressed by this team in partnership with Technology, Operations, TM Onboarding, Compliance, Risk, Customer Service, etc. Issue resolution includes identifying the root cause and ensuring root cause remediation. In addition, this team will be responsible for leading projects to implement infrastructure and client facing system upgrades.

The delivery team is also responsible for executing projects aimed at delivering custom client features. These are small development projects, as opposed to major new functionality release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the Product Delivery team by providing leadership and supervision; hiring, goal setting, coaching, development discussion, disciplinary actions
  • Manages staff, including motivating, training, advising, performance feedback, time and attendance, workflow management and employee relations. Works with employees to identify professional development/growth opportunity to strengthen talent
  • Develops product delivery roadmap to set the vision for 24-36 months. This includes:
    • Planned system upgrades and enhancements
    • End-of-life infrastructure upgrades
    • Placeholders for expected custom projects
  • Develops capacity plans to ensure adequate lead time to plan for resource availability
  • Ensures all key initiatives in the delivery team are progressing as planned. Resolves issues, provides guidance/coaching and escalates challenges to executive leadership as needed
  • Monitors payment systems to ensure all activities are completed within the defined service level agreements
  • Communicates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting of key production and project statistics as defined by management
  • Leads client requirement gathering and documentation for system upgrades and custom client projects
  • In partnership with project management team, ensures projects are on track and report to TM steering committee as needed
  • Participates in the preparation and on-going monitoring budget. Provides projections for overall budgeted volume

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or product delivery functions required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong procedure and process orientation and effectively deploys them
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work within all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Thorough understanding of TM products
  • Must be a self-starter, be able to independently operate and deliver results

Work Hours:  Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
