Job Description

Coordinate and Execute the compliance activities / program with Trust RMs and Trust Compliance.

Review all new accounts to ensure they are properly “set up”. This would include reconciling the system (SEI) to all to pertinent account related documentation / information to include assuring all synoptic information is correct, ticklers are set up properly, etc., as well as, ensuring all Account Summary Files are complete and accurate. This should also include a “sign off” by the assigned Trust Relationship Manager that he/ she have reviewed and have access to all the information necessary to administer the account in accordance with the terms of the governing document and law.

Support the business line by reviewing, approving and tracking Account Reviews to include:
• Pre Acceptance / Post Acceptance / Annual Review
• 3-year Administrative Review (annually if determined necessary by the account risk rating)
The process will follow the appropriate checklist and include a thorough review of the account file and documentation, as well as the system (SEI) to ensure all are accurate and consistent with the terms of the governing document. Accounts will be reviewed with the responsible Relationship Manager prior to presentation to the Regional Trust Working Group. “Signoff” of all reviews will be required of both the Regional Trust Compliance Coordinator and appropriate Relationship Manager.

Develop and execute a repeatable process working with Trust Compliance and Trust Relationship Manager to anticipate and resolve exception items identified within Compliance Services, Trust Quality Control, Wise, and external/internal examiners

Other duties include:
• Serving as the primary contact for all trust audits and exams.
• Developing and executing a process to ensure accounts transferred internally between Relationship Managers have been reviewed by the receiving Relationship Manager and that he / she has access to all the information necessary to administer the account in accordance with the terms of the governing document and law.
• Work with Trust Compliance and Relationship Managers on projects as deemed necessary
Requirements Job requirements
Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree preferred

Trust School or equivalent experience preferred.

Knowledge of trust fiduciary law and compliance requirements of OCC. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills. General banking/operations. Relevant certifications required.
