Job Description

The Administrative Assistant III will provide general and clerical administrative support to an individual, or small group of individuals, relieving them of clerical, administrative, and business detail. May serve as confidential assistant to departmental leader.

Job Duties:

Reviews correspondence and receives telephone calls related to the most sensitive and confidential matters and determines appropriate action to be taken.

May serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations.

Issues regular reports following established procedures which may require research, data gathering, and summarizing.

Conducts and/or supervises special projects for department.

Makes meeting and travel arrangements.

Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, or equivalent, with 4 to 6 years directly related experience is required.

High School Diploma, or equivalent, with 6 to 8 years directly related experience is preferred.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:

Accurate typing, spelling, and grammar skills.
Proficient with applicable computer software.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good organizational and customer service skills.
