Job Description

The Associate Investment Representative will assist Senior Registered Representative in producing revenues from the sale of approved non-traditional investments. The individual will also provide exceptional service to new and existing customers of IFS, and offer exceptional sales support to Licensed Bank Employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increases revenue of the assigned Senior Investment Representative and meets team production goal
  • Meets team production goals in a compliant manner
  • Coordinates with Senior Investment Representative to train and coach his/her assigned referral base and Licensed Bank Employees.
  • Processes business timely and submits paperwork in good order
  • Provides exceptional customer service to new and existing clients
  • Complete understanding and compliance with all industry regulations, agency, broker/dealer and IBERIABANK processes and procedures
  • Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) – from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to generate reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS:
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications (e.g, Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Internet Software, and Imaging Software required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc):

  • Appropriate state(s) Life & Health Insurance Licenses
  • FINRA Series 7/63 or 66 preferred
