Job Description

Processes ACH transactions to and from the Federal Reserve, Test Pep+ System Upgrades and ACH maintenance requests. Provide ACH customer service to external and internal customers.

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday from 1:30pm to 10:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Processes ACH windows including balancing and working ACH suspended files
  • Back up ACH functions during absences and vacation of team members. Train as a back up to the ACH Technical Manager.
  • Processes customers ACH maintenance requests
  • Provide ACH customer service phone and email support

Education Requirements and Job Experience: 

  • Bachelors required
  • 2 to 4 years of accounting and banking
  • 4 to 6 years of banking experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:

  • Required Knowledge – Overall exceptionally strong accounting and banking background. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with an exceptional knowledge of Excel, i.e., extract, download, and import files.
  • Required Skills – Strong oral and written communication skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail are required. Must be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision but capable of asking for assistance when needed.
  • Required Abilities – The ability to communicate and build rapport with others, take initiative, & be able to organize and prioritize daily responsibilities and meet established deadlines.
  • Preferred (not required; training will be provided) Knowledge of ACH NACHA file layout, knowledge of ACH PEP+ Application, and knowledge of ACH NACHA Rules.
