The DSC Bankruptcy Representative is responsible for monitoring and maintaining an assigned bankruptcy portfolio. The ideal candidate is very detail oriented and views their work as their self-portrait. The DSC Bankruptcy Representative exercises excellent judgment in performance of tasks that are both varied and moderately complex.

We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined individual who excels in a team environment, who takes ownership and who is enthusiastic about a job well done.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitoring bankruptcy accounts to ensure appropriate action is taken when necessary
• Performing various types of maintenance on bankruptcy accounts accurately and within specified timelines
• Ensuring compliance with policy and procedures
• Presenting a professional image

Abilities:
• To handle multiple tasks and prioritize
• To work with little supervision but know when to ask for help
• To maintain a positive working relationship with internal business partners and teammates
• To take a systematic approach to organizing work

Skills:
• Impeccable customer service and customer centric focus
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong keyboarding / data entry ability
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 or more years of work experience preferred
• Previous bankruptcy experience a plus

Work Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
