Job Description

As a Call Center Representative you will provide quality, accurate and timely customer service by answering incoming telephone calls for clients and associates as described in the duties and responsibilities herein.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer telephone calls from clients and associates regarding inquiries on deposit accounts, consumer and mortgage loans, online banking and all other bank products and services, and accurately and timely fulfill their requests.
  • Research and resolve client questions/issues with a One Step Resolution, or respond back to them in a timely manner to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Handle issues, provide appropriate solutions within the stated time limits.
  • Keep abreast of new products and services as well as enhancements to existing products and services.
  • Process miscellaneous transactions including stop payments, Online Banking PIN reset, telephone transfers, loan payoffs, change of address requests, cancel and reactivate ATM and debit cards.
  • Maintain and improve quality results by consistently adhering to standards and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2-5 years of experience, preferably in customer service or banking, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately comprehend numbers.
  • Must be available to work the evening shift (11:00 AM to 8:00 PM) and open to all other shift changes.

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Telephone Headset
  • Facsimile Machine
  • Copy Machine
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems including Outlook, Internet and all proprietary systems.
