Capital Bank Client Specialist, Sr

Position located in Asheville, NC

HOURS:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


JOB PURPOSE

• Supports the clients and sales staff by performing the most complex daily clerical functions to maintain the office and document processing. Assists with general account, loans, and collateral documentation to ensure accuracy & compliance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

50% • Support the Retail Banking Executive by planning and helping to direct the administrative requirements and operational performance of the Retail Line of Business team. Additionally, this position will provide general administrative support to the Retail Line of Business relieving them of administrative, work load and business detail.
Logistics and Meeting Planning
Logistical coordination of Retail LOB meetings and events including but not limited to: teleconferences, Retail Leadership calls, Leadership Forum preparation, teller events, etc.
Build corporate agendas through collaboration with other in the Retail Line of Business for various meetings and events.
Continually monitor and update the Retail LOB meeting/teleconference calendar.
Develop full correspondence from meeting notes or instructions.

Communications
Act as a primary contact person between Retail Leadership and key partners, enabling the successful candidate to provide insights to leadership to improve the daily management of the business unit.
Monitor verbal and written communication, and work across Retail Line of Business to make sure team is accurately communicating messages to appropriate audiences.
Route or answer routine correspondence not requiring supervisor's attention.
Keep large scale internal and external distribution lists updated.
Ability to collaboratively write, edit and/or publish articles on behalf of the Retail Line of Business.
Ability to collaborate on speeches and presentations on behalf of the Retail Line of Business.


General Administrative Duties
Make meeting and travel arrangements for department.
Manage department expenses, including submitting expense reports.
May serve as administrative liaison between others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations.
Manage Facility requests (logistics and moving people to different locations).
Take up any other administrative duties as assigned by department.
Other coordination duties will include, but are not limited to: room reservations, catering/food ordering, collection of meeting presentation materials, distribution of agendas and presentation materials.

Reporting & Tracking
Develop, enhance and distribute various types of reporting (sales/production, pipeline, financial performance, etc.).
25% • Processes and administers commercial loans. Records new loans, establishes relevant files, processes loan payments and maintains loan records. Maintains credit files. Calculates loan items and charges such as interest and payments. Assists lending officers in activities such as disbursement of funds and extensions of new loans. Prepares loan documents, notices, and periodic loan reports.

25% • Answers client inquiries on bank products, services, accounts and policies; opens new accounts; promotes cross-selling; researches and corrects account discrepancies. Assists Relationship Managers in preparing presentations & materials for bank meetings.

• Other duties as assigned; may be responsible for overseeing the operations of an office.

Requirements Requirements:
High school diploma required
This role requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years in a relevant field in roles with increasing responsibility.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Training/Systems:

Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills.

The candidate must have exceptional communication and presentations skills, as well as the ability to track and manage multiple initiatives concurrently.

The role also requires a skilled coach with strong influencing skills across all levels of the organization.

Must be results-oriented and focused on quality.

Must be highly adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Due to the strategic/confidential nature of many initiatives, the candidate must be able to maintain the complete trust of all those with whom he or she interacts.

Ability to take direction from multiple parties.
