Capital Bank Credit Analyst, Sr

Location: 3601 PGA Blvd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Capital Bank continues to grow and we are seeking passionate, focused professionals for our corporate credit team in Fort Lauderdale.

The Credit Analyst is responsible for underwriting various credit requests for commercial borrowers and working collaboratively with the assigned portfolio manager and relationship manager during the entire commercial loan process. To accomplish these goals, the Credit Analyst successfully executes the following.

• Write credit analyses based on established policies, guidelines, and procedures.

• Accurately and timely evaluate borrower credit risk and be able to articulate conclusions to deal team and management.

• Proactively manage own workflow

• Work with the portfolio manager in the servicing and monitoring of existing portfolio, including but not limited to the following tasks: manage receipt and calculation of financial and reporting covenants; ensure the systems of record are accurate for the loans being administered; ensure management information is reported timely and accurately.

Competency in the following is required.
• Microsoft Office
• Written communication
• Verbal communication
• Cash flow analysis
• Personal tax return analysis / Global cash flow analysis

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, Finance or Accounting major. MBA preferred.

Experience Required: 2+ years as an analyst in a Bank Commercial lending group. A candidate with Commercial banking AND Commercial Real Estate experience would be preferred.

Other Skills/Knowledge: Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills.
