Job Summary:
The Commercial Real Estate Loan Closing Supervisor position is responsible for oversight of the Commercial Construction Loan Closers and the Commercial Closing workflow. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of commercial loan closing and commercial construction. To include but not limited to the ability to analyze a credit approval, and all supporting documentation provided across a range of commercial credit products, to construction loans, term loans, revolving lines of credit and other commercial debt. This position is expected to manage the commercial real estate loan delivery process, including new money transactions, modifications, and legal documentation review. Ensure that procedures and workflows reflect current process. Develop and culture working relationships with key stakeholders to maintain an efficient end to end process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide support and leadership to the Commercial Loan Closing Team.
• Advise and assist team members in their respective duties for which they have direct responsibility.
• Guide team members in progressive and innovative efforts to evaluate systems and procedures for more efficient operation within their areas of responsibility.
• Responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are current, properly documented and adhered to.
• Ensure there is appropriate communication to key stakeholders.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by managing complex situations escalated by Loan Closing team members
• Responsible for staffing, training, and periodic performance reviews and discussions.
• Maintain working knowledge of key and non-key controls to ensure team maintains compliance

•Please note that the position can also be seated in Charlotte, NC or Memphis, TN. Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Three to Five years of direct experience in construction loan closing and management
• Five to Seven years of relevant work experience in commercial lending, documentation and management
• Considerable knowledge of operational functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area
• In-depth understanding and practical application of state statutes, laws and federal regulations
• Excellent organizational, and project management skills
• Well-developed customer relations skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Thorough knowledge of banking operations and commercial credits

Work Hours:
Monday thru Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm
