Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

50% Business Generation / Calling - Calls on current or potential customers; investigates customer needs for commercial products and services; develops sales proposals; introduces customers to other departments for cross-sell opportunities; negotiates with customers on pricing, etc. with senior officer guidance; develops fee income from credit and deposit services; finalizes and closes deals with senior officer assistance.

25% Credit / Structuring - Collaborates with internal partners such as Credit Risk Management, Portfolio Management, and Treasury Management to customize solutions for current and potential customers. Must understand and appropriately apply bank policy / guidelines to all transactions and seek guidance when appropriate.

15% Strategic Planning - Must develop a marketing plan with the objective to build a customer base that is in concert with the bank's growth plan. Key components include targeted industries, key centers of influence, and short / medium / long-term prospects to develop. Expect to have more than 10 prospects targeted at all times.

10% Internal Reporting / Training - Must keep current on all internal training and reporting. RMS / Salesforce is the bank's sales monitoring system and all reports must be updated at least monthly or more frequently as requested by management.

Some travel required.

Bachelors Required; Masters Preferred

4-6 years Experience Required; Business Degree w/ 12 hours of accounting

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities/ Training/ Systems:

Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills

Proficient with applicable computer software

Good written and oral communication skills

Good organizational and customer service skills

Lending and/or sales experience necessary

Relevant certifications

M-F 8am-5pm
