Position Overview:
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the determination of credit worthiness and appropriate credit structure for customers and prospects. Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for monitoring ongoing loan quality and covenant compliance for large and/or complex borrowers that are franchisees, franchisors, and chains, including those owned by private equity firms. This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ.

Job Description:
• Conduct historical and projected financial statement analysis using Moody's Risk Analyst and proprietary cash flow model
• Provide creditworthiness and structural recommendations to management tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
• Assist Portfolio Managers with preparation of pre-screens, credit memoranda and other required documentation, completion of required diligence (AML/KYC, appraisal, flood, etc.), and system setup for new and existing borrowers
• Assist Portfolio Managers with ongoing loan quality and covenant monitoring
• Provide recommendations to management for corrective actions and/or loan grading changes based on borrower, brand, segment and industry trends
• Remain current on consumer, economic, industry and brand trends affecting our portfolio
• Support Relationship Managers on early stage prospecting, including preparation of pre-screen documentation
• Participate in customer and prospect visits, trade shows, and industry conferences
• Perform other duties as assigned


Work Hours:
Monday thru Friday
9:00am to 5:00pm Requirements Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 2 years of cash flow lending or other banking experience required;
• Travel up to 5% of time
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high pressure environment with varying degrees of supervision
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to notice discrepancies in data
• Understanding of financial statements, key lending ratios, and commercial lending products
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
