Job Description

The Credit Analyst I will assist the Relationship Management team in evaluating requests for Mortgage Warehouse Lines of Credit by spreading financial statements, analyzing financial data, and performing credit risk grading. The analyst will compute net worth and liquidity calculations, prepare documents for credit approval, request financial statements from customers, and monitor compliance with loan agreement covenants. The analyst will communicate frequently with Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers and Customers.

Prepare full credit analysis for credit approval including Credit Approval Document completion, financial statement spreads, liquidity and net worth calculations, credit risk grading, and written analysis of the credit and supporting financial information. Request and evaluate First Data reports and consumer credit reports.

Request financial statements from customers and perform covenant testing in order to monitor compliance with loan agreement covenants.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree required for consideration (or equivalent); Masters preferred. (preferred business degree, minimum 6 hours in accounting)

0-2 years experience required; 2-4 years experience preferred.

Ability to understand and analyze financial statements. Critical attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively in writing, including proficiency in grammar and spelling. Proficient with applicable computer software. Organization, time management and customer service skills.
