Job Description

This position involves underwriting/analyzing commercial loans and assisting Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers in managing customers’ loans and credit exposures.

Job Duties:

- Prepare credit analysis of financial statements for commercial borrowers and prospects. Credit Analysis includes analysis of balance sheet, income statement, cash flows.

- Prepare credit approval documentation in First Horizon's approval system. Credit Approval Documentation includes loan terms, collateral, entering covenants, determining 

- Works with the Portfolio Managers and Client Specialists to ensures systems of record are accurate for the loan portfolio; ensures that management information is reported timely and accurately; obtains satisfactory loan reviews and ensures that regular reviews are performed.

Requirements:

- 2 to 4 years related experience, 4 to 6 years preferred

- Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills. Proficient with applicable computer software. Good written and oral communication skills. Good organizational and customer service skills. Good fundamental understanding of general bank operations, proficient understanding of the components of financial planning, deposit products, small business products, investment and insurance products.

Work hours: 8am-5pm, M-F
