Job Purpose:
Responsible for analyzing credit information to determine risk involved in lending money to commercial customers, and prepares reports of findings. Supports Commercial Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Credit Risk Mangers through financial statement spreading and analysis of new commercial loan requests as well as existing credit relationships. Monitors compliance with loan agreements and performs credit grading. Conducts industry research and analysis. Attends training classes and seminars.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Credit Analysis - Completes credit analysis/write-up for loan approval. Write-ups include financial statement analysis, debt recap, business and industry risk analysis, collateral and guarantor analysis, and other sections when applicable. Utilizes applicable software programs to develop credit approval documentation and credit grading.
• Financial Statement Spreading -- Spreads financial statements using the bank's spreading program. Assists in preparing projections and compiling sensitivity analysis.
• Covenant compliance and monitoring -- Utilize software programs to track and monitor customers' compliance against loan agreement covenants. Assists with other credit servicing duties.

Requirements Job Requirements:
• 2-4 years’ experience required (Financial Services, Accounting), 4-6 years preferred.
• Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred

Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and other applicable computer software. Exceptional organizational and customer service skills. Good aptitude for math. Fundamental understanding of general bank operations, proficient understanding of the components of financial analysis. Ability to work independently and in teams. Self-motivated, ability to handle multiple task and work with deadlines.

Monday - Friday
8 AM - 5 PM
