Job Description

The Data Scientist will support the sales, trading, strategies, and management functions with insights gained from analyzing company databases.  Organize, mine and analyze large data sets to identify opportunities to improve sales strategies, optimize product mix, and reduce risk. Coordinate with various management leaders to develop models and monitor outcomes.  Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.  Develop processes and tools to ensure data accuracy.  Identify and manage new data sources to streamline company data usage.  Develop management reports to drive business objectives.

  • Education: Bachelor degree in finance, mathematics, computer science, or comparable area.
  • 3-5 years experience in a business analyst or data scientist role OR bachelor degree in data science.
  • Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across teams.
