Job Description

  • Provide support to managers on projects, new initiatives, and day to day processing.
  • The person will be required to learn and gain a complete (in-depth) understanding front to back of the securities business.
  • Any duties as assigned, including analyzing and organizing data for problem solving, communication to management , and procedure development and/or completing  special requests.
  • Provide feedback on business processes in the areas and help with business process reviews and creation of procedures.
  • Create process documentation, testing, and validation work

Requirements:

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across teams
  • Ability to work independently and establish priorities
  • Anticipates and prioritizes for continually changing work demands.
  • Highly organized, with absolute attention to detail
  • Excels in using varying problem solving approaches and techniques appropriately
  • Excellent follow-through and communication to team members regarding status of open items
  • Plays a leading role in defining change practices, procedures and standards, to improve the effectiveness of the operations department.
  • Client-first attitude
  • Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others
  • Strong technological skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Previous financial services or operational experience a plus, but not required
  • College degree strongly preferred or commensurate business experience.
  • FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam and/or FINRA Series 7/Series 99 Exams preferred. If these designations are not currently held, they would be expected within 180 days of hire.
