FHN Financial is seeking a Fixed Income IG Credit Strategist in the firm’s Midtown New York City office. 

Responsibilities include:
* Work alongside a Senior Credit Strategist to prepare comprehensive credit analysis to generate best idea recommendations across sectors within the Investment Grade Corporate market.

* Develop and publish thematic ideas to identify macro investment relative value opportunities across curves, sectors and ratings categories.

* Effectively communicate ideas and recommendations with traders, sales and clients.

* Develop model portfolios for clients based on best ideas.
* Well-rounded credit analysis capabilities with the ability to distill relative value views across the corporate bond universe.

* BA/BS degree.

* Excellent MS Office skills, demonstrated proficiency in data analysis and presentation within Excel and PowerPoint.

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

* Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

* Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

* Progress towards or completion of CFA program preferred.

* Experience with Bloomberg terminal analytics a plus.

* Programming skills in scripting language such as Python a plus.
