FTN Financial Portfolio Advisors is the leading provider of fee-based investment management services for depository institutions (i.e. banks and credit unions). In support of our investment management activities, we are seeking a Financial Analyst who will be instrumental in developing and running balance sheet strategy with ClearView, FTN Financial’s proprietary asset/liability model.

This person will be involved in balance sheet modeling at every level. Responsibilities include: evaluating the accuracy and integrity of data through reconciliation with general ledger information and other financial reports, working with key assumptions supplied by our clients, producing financial forecasts and interest rate risk analyses, interpreting model output, and verifying the reasonableness of results. This person will work closely with portfolio managers to use the model for strategic financial planning. The position entails close interaction with analysts and portfolio managers as well as direct communication with clients.
Requirements Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in mathematics or a business-related discipline such as accounting, finance or economics. Candidates with a degree in a non-business major who have a strong skill set suited for this position will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.
• 0-3 years work experience.
• Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills and ability to accomplish goals with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced team-oriented environment.
