Job Description

Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical functions in accordance with standard procedures for International Products, particularly Letters of Credit.  Inputs data into systems, logs and images documents, handles mail, produces reports and assists with answering phones in contact with internal and external customers. Teamwork and support of a variety of International personnel is required. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to promote the appropriate company image and maintain a professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and learn new information quickly
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Act as an effective team player
  • Computer and typing skills with knowledge of email and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail while working under pressure

Experience Required:

At least one year of banking experience or equivalent in education and work experience

Job Duty Specifications:

  • Log & Scan documents
  • Answer phones and connect caller with appropriate specialist
  • Open and distribute daily mail
  • Key and update transactions in back office system
  • Make envelopes, labels and file things alphabetically
  • Assist with foreign currency transactions as needed
  • Drop off daily FedEx
  • Assist with breakdown and mail out of daily work
  • Contribute to completion of various Excel spreadsheets and reports
  • Monitor department email box(es)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with International transaction flow and ICC guidelines
  • Fluency in Spanish

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
