Job Description

As an Investor Relations Financial Analyst, you will actively participate in preparing for and producing quarterly earnings materials, investor presentations, peer analysis, external communications and stock tracking and analysis.  

*Position can be located in Charlotte, Memphis or New Orleans.

  • Prepare draft documents of external and internal announcements for review, including press releases, responsive statements, etc.
  • Research/prepare/update drafts of PowerPoint slides for investor meetings and presentations
  • Solicit/gather/oversee organization of internal support materials for quarterly earnings materials
  • Gather/analyze/maintain data pertinent to the company, its industry, competitors and peers
  • Monitor sell-side analyst research reports on the company, its competitors, and customers. Review/analyze/summarize sell-side earnings models and consensus earnings estimates. Compare sell-side estimates with internal forecasts
  • Perform research and analysis on the company’s peers and customers, their financial statements, operating performance and valuation
  • Further develop and maintain a historical company financial and operating performance data base
  • Attend investor calls and meetings for professional development and to act as a transcriber
  • Work on other ad hoc projects and deliverables.


  • Bachelor’s degree, required. A degree in business, or economics preferred
  • Four years of business experience and financial services/investor relations experience desirable
  • Proven understanding of finance, financial statements and strong financial modeling skills
  • Experience using Financial Research Systems (i.e. Bloomberg, SNL, Factset, CapIQ)
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
