Summary of Position:
Martech is an exciting, growing discipline defined by a rare breed of talent that can effectively blend marketing and technology practices within organizations. The Marketing Technology Architect is a member of the Marketing Operations & Planning function, reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations & Planning. This position is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders to define the vision, direction, and roadmap for sound architecture and design of the marketing technology stack. This trailblazer has the ability to influence business line and technology leaders on the architectural direction for marketing technology used to differentiate the commercial / wholesale / business banking, treasury, wealth management, consumer / retail customer and employee experience. Possesses knowledge of industry leading platforms and tools related to marketing automation, digital, sales and service, onboarding, lending, origination, case management, CX, CEM, CRM, analytics / reporting platforms, predictive intelligence and personalization. Able to effectively integrate solutions with other enterprise and 3rd party systems and platforms that deliver sales, service, origination and fulfillment of banking and financial services and products. The candidate ensures that team members embrace and adopt technologies and processes through sound training and communication techniques.
Requirements Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Minimum seven years demonstrated experience
• Banking / financial services experience mandatory

Related Qualities:
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with marketing, commercial and consumer banking and technology platforms, major IT programs, systems integration at enterprise and inter-enterprise levels.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be customer focused to understand and appropriately drive innovative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and collaborate with peers and management to craft solutions
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and accountability for achieving results.
• Can blend art and science.
• Reads, researches, and remains up to speed on emerging technologies and practices.

Important Knowledge and Skills:
• Banking and Financial Services: Domain knowledge related to retail banking, digital banking, commercial / wholesale banking, business banking / small business, treasury management, wealth management, contact center
• CRM: Salesforce.com – Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud
o Prefer at least one certification.
• Data Platforms: such as CDPs, DMPs, CEMs
• Marketing Automation and Operations: like Marketo, Pardot, Unica
• Reporting and Visual Analytics: Visual and standard tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Cognos
• AI / Predictive Analytics: such as DataRobot, Python, R
• Data Management: Industry DBMS such as MS SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2
• Integration and Connectivity: Data and services using platforms and standards like ESB, SOAP, REST, oData
• CMS: Industry platforms and tools such as Sitecore, SharePoint
