Job Description

First Horizon Bank has an exciting opportunity to join the Secondary Marketing group as a lock desk analyst! In this role, you will be involved in a variety of activities within the department, including a key role supporting the Iberia sales teams on the Secondary lock desk.

• Retrieves investor rates, publishes and distributes rate sheets on a daily basis.
• Price and lock loans submitted by the sales teams.
• Discuss loan scenarios with sales teams and provide recommendations to capture business.
• Actively manage pricing changes for locks in pipeline based on loan attribute updates.
• Interact with and maintain relationships with Secondary Market investors.
• Lock loans with investors based on Best Efforts commitments.
• Monitor rate fluctuations in marketplace and recommend price changes to the SVP of Secondary.

In addition to lock desk, engage in a variety of other activities, including:
• Develop and analyze reporting to drive business decisions, including daily lock activity, daily lock pricing margin tracking, monthly price exception tracking and other ad hoc situations.
• Participate in annual investor reviews and assist SVP of Secondary with providing re-certification documents as requested by investors.
• Support periodic bulk mandatory loan sales by providing ULDD information to Fannie and Freddie.
• Complete all required bank training on a timely basis.
• Comply with bank policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
• Various other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the department.

No supervisory responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least six months related experience and/or training is preferred by not required.

COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS (preferred but not required):
• Intermediate+ experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• Experience navigating and working with Ellie Mae Encompass.
• Experience with Compass Analytics or Optimal Blue pricing engine.
