ParaPlanner - Family Office Services  position is responsible for a variety of functions related to the financial planning process.  Duties include: Coordinating the flow of client data including data entry, review for accuracy and plan review with the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Professionals (CFP®'s).  Position will also provide assistance to the CFP®'s as needed including scheduling of data gathering appointments and plan presentations, researching and resolving inquiries, appointment tracking, inputting client data into the financial planning software, and providing excellent customer service and support.  This position will also be responsible for performing other duties as assigned by the department manager.


80% - The para planner will assist the CFP® throughout the financial planning process. This includes assisting the CFP® with data entry into the financial planning software. Accuracy will be extremely important. The position requires interaction with clients, the sales force, and the CFP® to aid in the collection of data for plans, and construction of personal financial statements. This includes contacting the client to schedule the data gathering appointment, follow-up with clients, assistance with the implementation process, and communication with other professionals on behalf of clients. The para planner will create and maintain an efficient process for scheduling and flow of plans and will support tracking of appointments in the RMS system and as needed. The Para planner facilitates communication among the CFP®s, the client, and the sales force to ensure a high level of customer service. The Para planner has a responsibility to their clients and the financial planning staff to keep current on laws and practices regarding the financial planning industry.

20% The Para planner will also support the department with other initiatives as determined by the Manager. This includes, but is not limited to: scanning, preparing spreadsheets, disseminating material and phone coverage.


Some college required and/or minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a related field. Position requires at minimum a NASD Series 6 license. College graduate with financial planning experience, preferred.
