Position Overview
The Portfolio Manager position underwrites and reviews existing accounts according to policy within the bank’s Business Banking portfolio up to $5MM.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Financial information review including cash flow and trend analysis
• Credit analysis based on 2-3 year trends
• Credit risk identification and mitigation
• Commercial and consumer credit report review
• Collateral evaluation
• Credit risk rating
• Credit memo preparation
• Annual grade reviews
• Pipeline/Queue management within a centralized environment

Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5-7 years underwriting experience in C&I and CRE preferred
• 3-5 years portfolio management experience
• Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in an organized fashion
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey data, context and implications
• Ability to handle high pressure situations that involve negotiating with peers in functional department and internal partners
• Relationship building skills and the ability to work within a cross functional group
• Great attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including excel
• Working knowledge of Moody’s Financial Analyst, ALS, Applink, Baker Hill, iCL, and FDR preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to work on a computer
