Processor Sr - SPOC/Probate Specialist
Full Time

Note: As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.

Job Description:
Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine processing functions in accordance with standard procedures of the Recovery department. This level employee performs assignments that are varied and moderately complex, to include analysis of and maintenance on accounts with no living borrowers. Review, maintenance, probate claim preparation and filing and special projects as assigned by department manager. Activities require some independent analysis, exercise of judgment, and knowledge of established procedures.

Product & Collections knowledge
Have a good understanding of First Tennessee’s products - to include DDAs, credit cards, installment loans, HELOCs, and real estate loans. This position will require account review and related maintenance dependent upon product type. A high level of judgment and decision-making as well as knowledge of general collections practices in regard to appropriate telephone etiquette and security procedures will be key attributes to this individual’s success.

Analysis/Reporting
A high level of analysis and judgment will be required to make appropriate decisions in regard to account routing. A number of internal and vendor-generated reports will be analyzed and worked in a timely fashion to drive work flow.

Customer Service
This role will include contact with customers, estate representatives and various other parties. It will include obtaining appropriate authorizations and legal paperwork designating authorized parties as part of the estate case.

Administrative
This position will include the preparation and filing of probate claims when accounts meet certain criteria. This task will require the ability to correctly ascertain documentation filing requirements of relevant jurisdiction. Certain tasks of this nature will require knowledge of the legal process and familiarity with legal documents. This role will then include the tasks of gathering required documents, preparation of real estate-secured claims and filing of probate claims. Any additional follow-up in regard to the filed claim required in the particular jurisdiction will also be completed.

• 30% Review of Internal and Vendor-Related Reports. Related Processing and
Account Maintenance.

• 30% Preparation and Filing of Probate Claims

• 20% Facilitation of Application Process and Restyling of Credit Card Accounts
with One Living Borrower

Requirements Job Requirements:
• 2 – 4 years experience
• 4 – 6 years experience preferred
• Knowledge of Real Estate Values, understanding of appraisals and market analysis, understanding of probate court procedures
• Knowledge of real estate contracts and HUD1 statements,
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of email and Microsoft
• Understanding of basic FFIEC regulation (charge off)
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to be a team player
• Work well under stress and pressure
• Have excellent time management skills
• Ability to make good evaluation decisions
• Able to work within time frame given
• Ability to determine equity
• Ability to read, review and analyze contracts
• Ability to make quick and accurate decisions
• Flexibility in managing changes and setting priorities.
