Job Description

 First Horizon is interviewing for a Project Manager to work in our Corporate Properties office. The position will be responsible for project delivery and space management of assigned corporate facilities and retail locations across the corporate footprint. They will work closely with the facilities management team to deliver projects on time and within budget. Preferred qualifications are a degree in Construction Science, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Technology, Information Technology or Business Management and Technology and experience working on multiple projects.

Manage and coordinate Projects Nationwide to ensure:

  • Ensures all assigned projects adhere to the Physical Security Standards of the FHN Corporation
  • Manages relationships with Vendors on all on-going projects to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develops and executes standard contracts for use with all Vendors and Consultants on projects.
  • Ensures all projects and workspaces adhere to the space standards of the organization.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships and team projects to include negotiations with vendors, assist in evaluating bids and proposals and help make recommendations to the team
  • Visit project sites to evaluate progress
  • Must be able to create a basic project budget and schedule
  • Must be able to research and do market study to deliver the best possible product or solution while acquiring the best possible pricing.
  • Must have some knowledge of construction processes and procedures
  • Assist in developing and maintaining corporate office standards and designs while maintaining a good ergonomic working environment
  • Must be able to do interior design as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Manage Design & Project Management Team and Project delivery:

  • Assist in coordinating projects and may help manage new office openings and building projects including but not limited to the construction of new facilities, renovation projects, and capital improvements.
  • Assist in coordinating the design of offices by working with senior management, building contractors, architects, city and county government, consultants, vendors in the planning, design, and coordination of new facilities and the renovation of existing facilities
  • Works directly with various levels of Management, Facility and Project Managers, Office

  • Designers, Corporate Security, Architects, City and County Government, consultants, and security agencies, etc., in the execution of the projects.
  • Be able to manage assigned projects.
  • Ensures that all assigned projects are on schedule, within budget, meeting the expectations of stakeholders, and are following proper procedures.
  • Ensures facilities meet regulatory requirements
  • Reviews correspondence and receives telephone calls related to the most sensitive and confidential matters and help determines appropriate action to be taken
  • Works with stakeholders and vendors to ensure accurate project budget forecasting

Prepares budgets and financial forecast for area of responsibility that entails:

  • Works with Corporate Properties finance to meet budget cycles
  • Prepare construction estimates to ensure that they meet company requirements and cover all expenses for projects from beginning to end.
  • May assist in estimating capital and non-capital projects also may include managing projects to insure completion under budget and on time.

  • Computer skills; Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Project and etc.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Construction Science, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology or Business Management and Technology.

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
