Trust Real Estate Associate

Position Overview:
The Trust Real Estate Associate assists real estate manager in managing a real estate portfolio held in fiduciary accounts. Urban, suburban, farmland, timberland, residential, commercial, industrial, or recreational properties are administered in the Mid-South geographical area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect real property for property maintenance issues and required annual inspection fiduciary duties
• Analyze and develop solutions to real property maintenance, management, transfer or finance problems
• Review and analyze deeds, appraisal, trust or other legal documents
• Collaborate with Trust Officers and Administrators to ensure efficient, effective, and economical management of real estate assets and account relationships
• Individually coordinate with prospects and/or third party service providers or professionals for real estate repair/maintenance, sales, purchase, negotiation, leasing, management or other duties as assigned
• Meet and coordinate with beneficiaries, co-fiduciaries to assess property maintenance, repair, or renovation requests
• Ability to complete assigned task with limited oversight and supervision
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Extreme attention to detail and organization
• Results oriented and self-motivated
• Strong skills on computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases/systems
Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• College degree or equivalent experience/certification in general business, finance, real estate, forestry, accounting or management
• One to three years’ work experience
• Experience in Trust, Banking, Investment management, real estate sales or in a property management role is a plus
• Real Estate asset management designations: Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Registered Forester, Certified Landman, Licensed Geologist, or real estate designation(s) a plus
